Sparks — Purchase Disclosure

Please read this before buying Sparks. Buying Sparks means you agree to these terms.

What Sparks are

  • Sparks are a virtual in-app credit used only inside TakeStand.
  • Sparks are not currency, not a security, not a stored-value instrument, and have no cash value.
  • Purchased Sparks cannot be redeemed for cash by purchasers. Eligible creators may earn monetary payouts based on qualifying Sparks they receive as tips, subject to the Host Payout Terms.
  • Purchase price: 5 Sparks = $1.00 USD ($0.20 per Spark). Larger packs may include bonus Sparks.
  • TakeStand retains a 30% platform fee from every Spark purchase at the time of purchase. You still receive 100% of the Sparks shown for the pack you bought.
  • Creator payout rate: eligible creators redeem qualifying Sparks received as tips at $0.14 per Spark, subject to the Host Payout Terms.
  • Sparks cannot be transferred between accounts, resold, or traded for anything other than tipping hosts inside TakeStand.

All Spark sales are final

Spark purchases are non-refundable. Once a purchase completes, the Sparks are delivered to your wallet and the sale is final. Do not buy Sparks if you may want a refund later.

Exception: if a purchase clearly failed (Sparks were charged but not delivered), email support@takestand.app within 30 days and we'll fix it.

Tips are final

When you send Sparks as a tip, the tip is delivered to the recipient immediately and cannot be reversed. 100% of the Sparks you send land in the recipient's wallet — no fee is taken at tip time, because TakeStand's 30% platform fee was already taken when the Sparks were purchased.

Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback for a delivered Sparks purchase is fraud and will result in the account being banned and the Sparks/tips reversed platform-wide.

Account closure & expiration

Unused Sparks are forfeited if your account is terminated for violating the Terms or Community Guidelines. Sparks do not expire in an active account.

Taxes

Prices shown at checkout include applicable taxes where Stripe calculates them. You are responsible for any tax obligations in your jurisdiction that aren't collected at checkout.

Changes

TakeStand may adjust pack sizes, prices, or bonus amounts. We won't retroactively reduce Sparks already in your wallet.
